Mrs Ada Margaret Flack, Stathern parish councillor, president of the WI, Methodist Sunday School teacher, and WVS organiser, was married in the Methodist church by the Rev W S Hinchcliffe of Bingham, to Mr Fred Garnet Hoyte, also of Stathern. The bride, who is a daughter of Mrs W Stokes of Tollesbury, was given away by her brother, Mr G Stokes, of Nottingham. Matron-of-honour was the daughter of the bridegroom Mrs F Baker, of Hall Farm Cottam, near Newark, and the best man ws Mr Cyril Hoyte, cousin of the bridegroom.
