Aberdeen - The funeral service for Irvin H. Jeschke, 90, of Aberdeen and formerly of Northville, will be Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mansfield with Pastor Wesley Hafner officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Irvin died Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Avera Mother Joseph Manor in Aberdeen.
Visitation at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, Aberdeen.
Irvin H. Jeschke was born on June 30, 1916, at Cresbard, S.D., to John and Louise (Boekelheide) Jeschke. He grew up on a farm and attended school near Northville.
On June 4, 1952, Irvin married Esther Albrecht at Aberdeen. They made their home on a farm near Northville until 1991, when they moved to Aberdeen, where they have lived since.
Irvin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Plains Lions Club in Mellette, the Farmers Union and the Senior Center in Warner.
Grateful for having shared Irvin's life are his wife, Esther of Aberdeen; his sister-in-law, Delores Berreth of Aberdeen; his brother-in-law, Fred (Grace) Albrecht of Groton; and many nieces and nephews.
Irvin was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise, and two brothers, Norman and Martin.
