Local Couple has lake-side wedding ceremony in Oswego.
Danny Curtis Dunsmoor and Debra Anna Hall exchanged wedding vows June 27 (1998in a lake side ceremony set at Bayshore Groe in Oswego. John Love officiated the ceremony. Over 300 friends and relatives attended the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Beverly Hall of martinville. She is the grandaughter of Violet Hall of Fair Haven. The groom is the son of Ross and Louise Dunsmoor of Oswego.
The bride was escorted by her son, Joseph Burghart, and was given in marriage by both her son and by Lacey Marie Dunsmoor, daughter of the groom.
Maid of honour was Nancy McGlaughlin, friend of the bride. Matron of honour was Lacey Dunsmoor, daughter of the groom. Mackinsey Dunsmoor, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
William Dunsmoor, brother of the groom was best man. Ushers were T J and Eric Dunsmoor, nephews of the groom. Garrett Dunsmoor, nephew of the groom was ringbearer.
Attending the balloon launch was Alecia Hall, Niece of the bride and Robert Hall, nephew of the bride. Kenny Hall, brother of the bride gave a reading for the couple.
A clambake reception followed the ceremony at Bayshore Grove. (.. desception of the reception ..)
The bride has been employed at Black Clawson Converting Machinery LLC in Fulton for over 16 years and is presently a senior parts representative.
The groom is sole proprietor of Dunsmoor Farms in Oswego and presently raises many acres of onions in the local area.
The couple resides in Oswego.
OBIT: Danny C. Dunsmoor, 58, of Oswego, NY Passed away August 18, 2010 as a result of a tragic farming accident. Danny was born December 16, 1951 in Oswego, NY.
He attended the Hannibal and Oswego schools and served in the Navy from 1969-1971 during Vietnam.
Danny helped run the family onion farm through his early years and took over the farm in 1978. As owner of Dunsmoor Farms he operated 300 acres of onions and ran a very successful packing and distributing facility.
Danny was President of the Oswego Vegetable Grower's Assoc. from 1996 to Present, was a co-owner and current board member of the New York Bold, LLC, a member of the Elks, and was a youth hockey coach, softball coach and avid softball player for the Dunsmoor Farms team for many years. Dunsmoor Farms was inducted into the Oswego Softball Hall of Fame in 1997.
Dan loved spending time with his wife and parents in Mesa, AZ during the winter months and in summer months spent his time with family at Riverforest Campground in Weedsport, NY. He also enjoyed playing cards at the casinos and was an elite member both in Arizona and New York.
Danny is survived by his wife Debbie of 12 years, a daughter Lacey of Oswego, a step-son Joe Burghart of Sterling, father Ross Dunsmoor of Oswego; brothers, Ronald (Darlene) William (Joyce), Thomas (Michelle), John (Judith) all of Oswego; beloved father and mother in law Kenneth and Beverly Hall of Martville and brother and sister-in-law Ken and Carol Hall of Sterling; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Louise in 2009.
Funeral Services will be held 10a.m. Monday at the Nelson Funeral Home.
