• Notes

  Joanne Penn kindly checked the Burial entry in the original Parish Registers for Swaffham Bulbeck and the transcription is accurate - William's age at death is definately given as 61 not 69. If it had been 69 then we could definately deduce that he was the son of Thomas Flack and Alice Newman baptised 30 Mar 1745 in Swaffham Bulbeck. While this is still a possibility (age at death is not always accurate!) the element of doubt is still there.
