- [Grantham Journal, Grantham, Lincolnshire 30 October 1937] Considerable interest centred in the wedding at Stathern Methodist church on Wednesday of Miss Margaret Aline Flack, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs James Flack of Stathern, to Mr Charles Thomas Hodson, eldest son of Mr and Mrs George Hodson of West Bridgford. During the last 10 years the bride has been in the post offices at Stathern and Burton Joyce, while the bridegroom has been a prominent member of the Trent Motor Company's cricket, football and swimming club teams. The attendants were Miss Hilda Flack, the bride's sister, Miss Sylvia Hodson and Miss Eileen Hodson, the bridegrooms sisters, and Miss Jean Flack the bride's niece.
