Born in McDowell County to the late Marvin and Bessie Webb Flack, he was a retired employee of Marion Manufacturing Co., member of East Marion Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Doris Millwood Flack; son, Stephen Flack of Erwin, Tenn.; daughter Susie Flack of Gloucester, Va.; sister, Betty Steppe of Old Fort; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday in the McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with the Rev. Officiating.
