      Redhill Collision: Seven injured, one killed.
      A military vehicle and a hired car were involved in an accident last Sunday evening at 10:20 pm in the neighbourhood of the Corporation Farm, Brighton-road, Redhill, when a 2 1/2 year old child was killed and seven other people were injured. The child, Maureen Janet Benwell, of 45 Shirley-avenue, Redhill, daughter of Mr Ernest Benwell, a toolroom machinist, was taken to the County Hospital, where she died. The seven injured people, who were all taken to the County Hosptial, wre: Mrs Winifred May Benwell, Mrs Elizabeth Lee, Mrs Joan Pornicott, and Yvonne Pornicott, all of 45 Shirley-avenue, Arthur James Flack, 48 Shirley-avenue, and two soldiers, Pte Harold Mettam and Driver Ashcroft.
