- BIOGRAPHY: Burwell, Cambridge:

Burwell is in the far east of Cambridgeshire, on the border with Suffolk, near the Suffolk enclave of Newmarket. It is a considerable distance from Great Abington. Naming patterns give no indication of how or whether this family is connected to other Amey families. A branch of this family settled in Bottisham, to the south of Burwell, but vanished after one generation.
