    • NOTES: (1) I see quite a few Family trees around which show Mary here as MARY LENA FLACK - but unfortunately not one of them provides any source evidence for this assertion.
      Charles Stephens Townsend obviously married a 'Mary' - but was it Mary Flack ??
      (2) The two distinct 1910 census records (for both Mary AND husband Charles) show them BOTH as havng been married TWICE - who were their other spouses ??
      (3) Death record of daughter Florence shows mother as Mary FLAX (being the only record I can find that shows Mary to be a FLACK)
