A Paralytic Stroke: Robert GIBBON aged 69 years, clerk of Queentown Shire Council and a leading Friendly Society officer, sustaines a rather severe paralytic stroke today(our Chartere Towers correspondent telegraphed last night)

Charters Towers News: An old resident and a well known officer of the MUIOOF in the person of Mr Robert GIBBON died yesterday aged 70 years. He came to Charters Towers in the early days and was for may years clerk of Dalrymple and then of Queenton Shires, and was corresponding secretary for the North Queensland branch MUIOOF having held other leading positions. The funeral today was largely attended.
